Why should Calcium Ex be added to the water? What does it do?

Every water contains various dissolved substances in varying concentrations.

These include calcium and magnesium, as well as sulfates. These substances are responsible for the hardness of the water. In addition, the water also contains metals such as iron, copper, and manganese.

All these substances are present in the water in ionized form. Due to the heating and swirling of the water, these substances can settle.

In the case of calcium and magnesium, solid limescale deposits can settle in the pipes and on the tub shell. These limescale deposits serve as food and a breeding ground for bacteria, as well as fats and oils from the skin and cosmetics. Biofilms can form very quickly. Biofilms are formed by bacteria and protect them from disinfectants.

When using Calcium Ex, the molecules of calcium and magnesium are complexed. This means that when they transition from the ionized form to the solid form, they acquire a different molecular structure. They can then no longer adhere to the pipe walls. This can prevent the formation of deposits in the pipelines. The limescale is filtered out.

Metals in the water can lead to discoloration and cloudiness. Complexation with Calcium Ex prevents this, and the metals can also be filtered out.

Calcium Ex does not soften the water, but it prevents the formation of deposits and prevents the water from discoloring or becoming cloudy.

Application:

Shake thoroughly before use. After filling the hot tub, add 150 ml of Calcium Ex to 1000 liters of water. For hard water, you can increase the amount to 250 ml / 1000 liters of water.

The product must be stored cool and dark. Improper storage (frequent changes between warm and cold) can render the product ineffective. Flakes in the product are an indicator of this.
